Tried to read this 150 pages in and still didn't know the plot or story line

  2. Cheyenne Cheyenne says:

I feel odd about not giving this book a rating but I don't feel that I should because I abandoned this bookAnd I really really don't like doing that the same as I dislike not finishing a series or not reading a series in order And that's not just because I have OCD like tendenciesIt's just so slow And I mean really slow I had to push myself from almost the beginning And I don't even have anything really negative to say about how it was written It's a multi POV book though most of itthat I read is in the main character's POV Stanley Johnson His characteristics are pretty normal the most interesting one being his suspicion and some of his views on thingsI also never reached a part in the book where the various characters really connectedIt's just one of those books you know? I might even pick it back up one day and give it another shot but it won't be anytime soon

  3. Stephanie Stephanie says:

I think the plot was there it was just a very slow read sometimes when a good plot becomes a slow read for me I find it's because I'm too busy in daily life but I just couldn't keep the interest going here I hate giving a book two stars but I can't do much than that keep writing and get to it all a little uicker

  4. Cheryl Cheryl says:

Had a difficult time putting this one down a governmental conspiracy during a presidential campaign and an environmental lab with uestionable ties to the President both play havoc in the life of a widower who is facing hallucinations What do all of these have in common? Keeps the reader guessing till the very end

  5. Marilyn Tafro Marilyn Tafro says:

Didn't finish because I just couldn't get into it Poor Writing

  6. Barry Barry says:

It was pretty good a bit lackluster through the middle of the book but it finished rather well

  7. Rachael Rachael says:

    Vulgar and disappointing
