I have read very little by this author and now I know why This was entertaining only from the standpoint of watching the heroine do one stupid thing after the other Was the word no too complex a term for her vocabulary Wowtalk about a pushoverI ended up rating this one three stars simply for comic relief that had me rolling my eyes I mean how can you dis a book that keeps your eyes rolling from one page to the next

It wasn't a 'really great' read and I don't think I have read many of Lilian Peake's books But I rated this 4 stars because this was a better one The holiday setting was good and I liked the verse which is still with me so something must be good about her writing Then too at that time I read Mbs by the spades and I don't think I disliked any of them Still this book had left a favorable impression
