Some fine short stories here I am not a science fiction connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, but Arthur C Clarke s Nine Billion Names of God and Asimov s Dreaming Is a Private Thing raise this anthology to the essential for anyone who enjoys fiction The other stories are equally well crafted and enjoyable.

Hard core SF fans who ve been around a while are likely familiar with many of these stories The overall quality for an anthology is very high It is worth reading even if one knows half the stories, although in that case one might skip a few of the best known ones.
